On June 5th, The NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel (PROP) recently approved moving the 3-point line. The arc will be moved to 22′-1 3/4″ for the 2019-20 season. This matches the international distance. The changes will go into effect for Division I for this next upcoming season. The change will not go into effect in Division II and III until 2020-21 season. Women are keeping the 3-point line at the distance it is at now. There are no changes to the current width of the lane. …
